Organ Failure from Antibiotics

Katie Hnida, a former kicker on the University of New Mexico football team, suffered an adverse reaction to a common, everyday antibiotic. According to her GoFundMe page, Hnida suffered multiple organ failure. Hnida’s kidneys failed, her liver shut down, her bone marrow quit functioning, her blood would not clot, and she suffered uncontrollable bleeding. Hnida was admitted to the intensive care unit in critical condition where she was given emergency dialysis and doctors debated the need for a possible liver transplant.

The Law Offices of Brian D. Witzer has previously represented injury victims who have suffered adverse reactions, such as organ failure which leads to death or the requiring of organ transplants, to antibiotics such as Solodyn, minocycline and a number of other antibiotics including Bactrim.
